WWII 66th Infantry Patch · Hand Machined Embroidery

This field shirt features a free-hand panther embrodiery and Upcycled 1944 U.S. Army embroidered patch.

“Yellow Peril Supports Black Power” The phrase originated from the 1960s civil rights movement, and can be commonly seen in a photo of former Black Panther Party Member Richard Aoki, proclaiming African and Asian solidarity. It is most often associated with the 1969 rally in Oakland, California, supporting Huey Newton, co-founder of the Black Panther Party.

The mythological double headed black Panther’s fur is made up of the famed Tigerstripe disruptive pattern, worn by U.S. Special Forces in the 1960s.

  • Hand-machined embroidery
  • Vintage Surplus U.S. Army patch
  • Woven Maharishi nametape
  • Chest pocket
Cotton Sateen · 100% Cotton

1960’s era U.S. Army cotton sateen twill, reproduced exclusively for Maharishi. Used in AW21 to reproduce the uniforms worn by the U.S. Navy Riverine and helicopter support units, as well as for Eastern utility wear of the Civilian Regular Defence Group.
